The easiest way to transfer a Microsoft Money data file to
a different computer is to back up your file on one computer and then restore
it to the other computer.
If you are restoring a backup from an older
version of Money to a computer that has a more recent version of Money
installed, Money restores the file, recognizes that the file is in an older
file format, and then automatically converts the file to the new version for
you.
